We are going to share today is what national day? Every 1st of March, we celebrate the World Day of the Civil Protection. This date was chosen in the calendar of World Days because it is the anniversary of the entry into force of the Constitution of ICPO as an intergovernmental organization, the 1 st March 1972.

The International Civil Defense Organization ( ICDO , the International Civil Defense Organization) is an intergovernmental organization whose main objective is to contribute to the implementation by States of measures and organizations to ensure the protection and assistance of populations in the face of natural and man-made disasters.
Goals
The stated objectives of this day are:
- Draw the attention of the broadest public to its major role in the daily life of the people
- To raise awareness of the measures to be taken in the event of natural disasters.
It is also symptomatic that countries like Haiti or some African countries are particularly aware of the celebration of this day. It organizes a series of events, conferences, debates, exhibitions and even exercises in disaster preparedness and relief.
